COMPETENCE LEARNING / NEW CULTURE OF LEARNING

Implementation of a „New Culture of Learning“. The focus is on the  individuality of the pupils. Pupils must learn to take their responsibility and organize themselves as a pre-condition to a life-long learning. Self-controlled learning und cooperative ways of working ensure a high level of motivation for learning.

More than 50% of the teaching time is spent on activities like group work which means to learn from one another followed by a presentation of the group results.

MORNING MEETING

Half an hour each day. These meetings are a contrast to the daily school routine.

 The focus is on soft skills, which are an essential basis of all ways of learning.

There is time to build up and train skills to tell about own needs and desires and to do them.

One has also got enough space for topics you can’t do in the lessons like to get on with each other, conflict resolution and

learning of learning and types of learners.

MULTILINGUALISM
Due to the neighbourship to Hungary and economical conditions Hungarian is taught as a second foreign language at our NMS.

Pupils start to learn this language in Andau and Tadten when they are nine years old..

Multilingualism is one of the columns of our concept, which also means more English lessons. Abilites to listen, talk, read and write and intercultural understanding are very important for us.
